The Director General of the Canadian Police College (CPC), Mr Cal Corley, called at Police College on June 22 and met Director Kevin Woods and his team to enhance mutual understanding, share best practices and explore opportunities for further collaboration.

The CPC is one of the most important strategic partners of the Force in management and development training. Every year four senior inspectors from the Force are sent to attend the three-week Senior Police Administration Course (SPAC) at the CPC to beef up their policing knowledge, skills and abilities, and to gain exposure to policing work in different jurisdictions.

During his visit, Mr Corley also met the officers who recently attended SPAC to discuss the benefits of CPC learning to their professional development and work.
