SARS fighter shares experience
At the invitation of Police College, the incoming Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Professor Joseph Sung Jao-yiu, shared with Force members the topic of "Change Management" at a seminar organised as part of the Management Development Programme at Police Headquarters on June 28.
Prof Sung is no stranger to the community. Many still remember the significant contributions he and his medical team had made during the fight against SARS. The seminar attracted some 200 participants, including both officers and civilian staff.
He shared his practical experience obtained from real scenarios of how to handle crisis and overcome challenges. The question-and-answer session saw an interactive and open exchange of views after which the audience gave Prof Sung a big applaud for his presentation.
