Police College hosts special visitors
With the assistance of the Royal Over-Seas League, a party of 100 visually impaired members of the Hong Kong Federation of the Blind, along with their families, spent a day out visiting Police College's Wong Chuk Hang campus on June 4.
The college laid on an interesting programme for these special visitors, including display of an assortment of police equipment and a mini-concert by the Police Band. Officers were on hand to explain the functions of the equipment as the visitors felt, touched or tried their hands on some of the equipment.
At the end of the mini-concert, some visitors played police musical instruments with the Police Band members, making for interaction and communication between the two parties.
Many visitors also posed for the camera with officers to record a memorable occasion.
