The 10th Felicia Cup, an annual volleyball league inviting different university ladies' teams, was held on July 4 at Police Sports and Recreation Club (PSRC), with two Force teams, Baptist University (BU), University of Science and Technology (UST), Lingnan University (LU) and Institute of Education (IEd) vying for the title. In the final game, Police A team took on BU and took the first set with 25:19, but in the second and final sets, BU made a strong cameback with 25:20 and 15:11. Eventually, Police A team took the second place while Police B Team beat UST to take the second runner-up medal. Earlier on June 27, the Force ladies' team clinched the University of Science and Technology Invitation Cup after beating five teams. On May 13, the Lomas Cup, an annual inter-disciplinary invitation league for men's teams, was held at PSRC when Immigration Department, Fire Services Department (FSD), Correctional Services Department (CSD) and Customs and Excise Department played against Police A and B Teams. The games were hotly contested, and FSD proved to be too strong for A team despite the latter's good attacks and defence. Finally, FSD claimed the title. The third and fourth places went to CSD and B Team respectively. The Force Volleyball Club holds practice session every Thursday from 7pm to 10pm at PSRC.
