S for S and CP saddened by death of PC
Secretary for Security, Mr Ambrose S K Lee, and Commissioner Tang King-shing have offered their condolences to the family of Police Constable (PC) Leung Ting-lun who was fatally injured in a traffic accident in Sheung Shui, while on duty on August 17.
"I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Mr Leung in the accident. The Government will give all possible assistance to Mr Leung's family," said Mr Lee.
PC Leung was travelling along Fan Leng Lau Road on a police motorcycle when the bike collided with a public light bus about 7 pm. He was later certified dead at Prince of Wales Hospital.
Shortly after the accident, Mr Tang rushed to the hospital to enquire about PC Leung's condition and comfort his family.

PC Leung, aged 34, joined the Force in 1994. On the day of the accident, he was attached to the Patrol Sub-unit of the Enforcement and Control Division of Traffic New Territories North.
PC Leung is survived by his wife and a two-year-old son.
