Applications invited for PCET and PE&WT |

The application exercise for grants, bursaries and scholarships from the Police Children's Education Trust (PCET) and the Police Education & Welfare Trust (PE&WT) for 2010-11 started on August 20. The trusts aim at providing financial assistance for education of children of police officers and encouragement to those who are academically brilliant. The deadline of applications is October 6 for Secondary six and seven scholarships, bursaries and grants for compassionate cases and disabled children. For tertiary scholarships and bursaries, the deadline is October 20. More information and application forms can be obtained from Personnel Services & Staff Relations (PS&SR) Branch Headquarters, Regional Welfare Offices, offices of Training and Staff Relations Officers, or downloaded from the PS&SR Branch website on Police Intranet (POINT) or Hong Kong Police Public Page. Enquiries on grants for disabled children and compassionate cases should be made through the Force Welfare Officers in Regions. Late applications will not be considered. Applicants for scholarships and bursaries must forward their application forms, together with relevant supporting documents, to Secretariat, PCET and PE&WT, c/o PS& SR Branch, 38/F, Arsenal House, Police Headquarters, 1 Arsenal Street, Wan Chai.
