A four-member badminton team of the UK Combined Forces (Air Force, Navy and Army) recently visited Hong Kong and took part in a friendly match with the Police Badminton Club at the Police Officers' Club on August 7.

"No doubt it was a precious and memorable experience for both teams as the last time the UK team played matches with the Hong Kong Police was 16 years ago", said Chief Superintendent Chau Cho-kei, Chairman of the Police Badminton Club. "I'm truly impressed by the skills of the UK players and am sure we all enjoy the match very much and treasure the friendship established."

The match itself was very tight and the police team won by a small margin only. After the game, the Police Badminton Club hosted a dinner for the visiting guests, during which club members offered some tips on sightseeing and shopping.
