RMPU KE reunites mother and son
A Mr Yiu called at Regional Missing Persons Unit Kowloon East (RMPU KE) on November 2 and presented a plaque to the Unit for locating his stepmother from whom he has been separated for 38 years.
Mr Yiu expressed his appreciation for officers' efficiency as well as care and concern to Station Sergeant Chun Kwok-wah as he accepted the souvenir on behalf of his Unit.
Mr Yiu's father, shortly before his death in September last year, told his son to locate his stepmother. After newspaper advertisements failed to turn up any clue, Mr Yiu turned to RMPU KE for help, and officers eventually fulfilled the father's ultimate wish.
