Road safety drive in Central, Western
The Central and Western District Road Safety Campaign was kicked off at Lan Kwai Fong recently to drive home the consequences of drink and drug driving, as a joint effort by Central District (CDIST), Western District (WDIST), Central and Western District Office, and Central and Western District Road Safety Campaign Organising Committee.
Officiating at the launching ceremony, CDIST Commander Peter Morgan, on behalf of his District and WDIST, thanked Central and Western District Road Safety Campaign Committee Chairman, Mr Yip Chun-nam, and his committee members for promoting road safety and raising residents’ awareness of road safety. Together with Mr Yip and WDIST Commander Chu Ming-po, Mr Morgan appointed Miss Renee Dai as a District Road Safety Ambassador.
After the ceremony, Mr Morgan, along with the District Road Safety Ambassador and guests, visited the pubs and restaurants nearby to spread the message on safe driving.
