Officers receive honours and awards at Government House

Twenty-five serving and retired members of the Force, along with 259 other recipients, were presented with honours and awards by the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, at Government House on November 20.

Heading the Force recipients was retired Deputy Commissioner Yam Tat-wing who was presented with the Silver Bauhinia Star.

Director of Operations Hung Hak-wai, Director of Management Services Tang How-kong and Kowloon East Regional Commander Suen Kwai-leung were presented with the Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

Retired Chief Systems Manager (Information Technology Branch) Hui Kai-ling received the Bronze Bauhinia Star. Nineteen officers, including Assistant Commissioner (Information Systems) Lau Yip-shing, were presented with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service and one officer was presented with the Chief Executive's Commendation for Government Service.
