Force retains tennis title
The Police Tennis Team retained the title of the Disciplined Services Tennis Tournament after knocking out the Fire Services Department in the final play-off at the Correctional Services Department Officers' Club in Stanley on February 26.
In the preliminary rounds, the Police Team and the Fire Services Team knocked out the teams from Correctional Services Department, Customs and Excise Department, Immigration Department and Independent Commission Against Corruption to enter into the final.
The tournament was sponsored by the Police Tennis Club Honorary Patron, Mr Richard Tang. He later presented the trophy named after him to the Police Tennis Team.
Also enjoying the final play-off as guests of honour were Secretary for Security, Mr Ambrose S K Lee; Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung and heads of other disciplined services.
