CAPO earns Commendation
At a ceremony held on April 11 at Service Quality Wing, Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung presented the CP Unit Commendation to Complaints Against Police Office (CAPO).
CAPO has earned the commendation with an exceptionally high level of professionalism, commitment, perseverance and teamwork displayed in preparing for the smooth implementation of the Independent Police Complaints Council Ordinance between April 2009 and July 2010.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Tsang congratulated CAPO on earning the commendation and encouraged CAPO officers to continue upholding the integrity of the complaint system by remaining "firm and fair", as well as "professional and impartial".
Apart from CAPO officers, also attending the presentation ceremony were Deputy Commissioner (Management) Lee Ka-chiu, Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Tang Kam-moon, Director of Operations Hung Hak-wai, Director of Personnel and Training Ma Wai-luk, Director of Management Services Tang How-kong, Director of Finance, Administration and Planning Yeung Yiu-shing and Acting Assistant Commissioner (Service Quality) Duncan McCosh.
