Dear Sir,

I am writing to express my warm appreciation of the performance of the Hong Kong Police Force at the Flag Raising Ceremony on Tuesday, April 5, at the Golden Bauhinia Square outside the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Flag Raising Party performed very well with firm and steady steps as well as smartness, impressing the peoples from all over the world. And it was obvious that tourists and the locals alike were enthralled by this spectacular event.

I am very proud that Hong Kong has such a high quality and well-trained Police Force. With dedication to quality service and continuous improvement by a group of talented Police Officers, I am confident that the efficiency and professionalism of the Hong Kong Police would be better known both locally and internationally under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Mr Tsang Wai-hung.
