PS&SR Branch introduces website on health

Personnel Services & Staff Relations (PS&SR) Branch has over the years coordinated various health protection schemes for Force members to participate according to their needs, including health check-up and medical insurance. A one-stop website, "Voluntary Health Protection Services", is now available on POINT for Force members to access information of different health protection services and health-related resources. The website contains the followings: * Health Check-up Schemes: providing information of two tailor-made check-up packages for Force members as well as other health check-up packages offered by five medical institutions, including items covered in the packages and enquiry hotlines. * Medical Insurance Schemes: providing links to "Police Safety Protector" and "Voluntary Medical Insurance Schemes" coordinated by Civil Service Bureau. * Health Services at Corporate-rate: providing a profile of services (including dental and Chinese medicine services) coordinated by PS&SR Branch. * Health Tips: providing information on "Warning Signs on Health", "Health Test", "Illness Prevention" and other related topics to give Force members knowledge of health and illnesses, and a better understanding of their health condition. As the saying goes, "health is the greatest wealth of life." If Force members have a safety net for health care in place, the psychological and financial burden on them or their family would be relieved when they unfortunately fall ill or have an accident. Thus, whilst the above schemes and services are optional, Force members are encouraged to visit the "Voluntary Health Protection Services" Website for health information and greater health protection.
