Officers of Regional Crime Unit 2C, New Territories South (RCU 2C NTS) detected a case of theft of goods-in- transit on June 21, after an exhaustive investigation. All the stolen goods, including mobile phones and bluetooth headsets worth over $8.2 million, were recovered on the same night from a hut in the remote Ta Kwu Ling. Subsequently, three culprits, including a truck driver, were apprehended and charged with theft and handling stolen goods.

On August 17, the CEO of the victimised logistic company called at NTS Regional Headquarters and presented complimentary banners to Senior Superintendent (Crime NTS) Ma Chi-kin and members of RCU 2C for their leadership and professionalism.
