Auxie Commandant calls at Kowloon Mosque

In line with the long-standing relationship between the Force and the Muslim community, Auxiliary Police Commandant Yiu Yeung-lung, accompanied by his senior management team comprising four Chief Superintendents, seven Acting Senior Superintendents, 20 Superintendents and 34 Chief Inspectors, visited Kowloon Mosque and Yau Tsim District  (YTDIST) on September 8.

The party first called at YTDIST Headquarters, where it was greeted by YTDIST Commander Cheung Kwai-kee. After this, YTDIST Police Community Relations Officer M. M. Khan, who organised the visit, briefed the guests on some basic knowledge of Muslims and some greeting words of the Non-ethnic Chinese communities. After the briefing, the auxiliary police officers proceeded to Kowloon Mosque, where they were greeted by Chief Imam and taken on a guided tour of the mosque for them to understand more about the Muslim community.

Liaison and mutual understanding enhanced
