The first Tripartite Sports Exchange 2011 among Singapore Police Force (SPF), Macao Judiciary Police (MJP) and Hong Kong Police (HKP) was held on October 15 and 16.

Led by SPF Commissioner, Mr Ng Joo-hee; MJP Director, Mr Wong Sio-chak; and Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung, more than 180 officers from the three police forces participated in Dragon Boat race, basketball, football and tennis matches.

To mark the inauguration of this event, a special Dragon Boat race for SPF, MJP and HKP teams was held in Shing Mun River in Sha Tin. The MJP team captured the title after a two-minute neck-to-neck finish. All participants also enjoyed the excitement of the race and the view of Shing Mun River.

Athletes from the three forces gathered at Police Sports and Recreation Club on the second day of the sports exchange, all geared up for basketball, football and tennis matches. After three hours of heated contest, SPF won the trophy in football while MJP edged out all others in basketball. HKP team members, on the other hand, demonstrated their strong skills and took centre stage in tennis tournament.

The two-day Tripartite Sports Exchange concluded successfully with a full-house farewell dinner hosted by Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Tang Kam-moon at the Police Officers' Club.
