Operations New Territories South (OPS NTS) will conduct a multi-agency Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Exercise - "FLYINGEAGLE"- later this month to enhance frontline officers' response and co-operation with other departments in dealing with CBRN incidents. In preparation for the exercise, OPS NTS has invited the Chief of Service of Accidents & Emergences of Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital, Dr Jimmy Chan, to give a lecture on the latest information related to a CBRN incident. Dr Chan has a long-term working relationship with various units in the Force. For example, he is the Honorary Medical Adviser of the Police College. He delivered a tailor-made lecture to over 100 officers, including formation commanders in NTS, at NTS Regional Headquarters on November 4, covering updated development of CBRN and its handling procedures and boosting the officers' confidence in dealing with CBRN incidents. At the conclusion of the lecture, OPS NTS Superintendent Wai Hang-mo thanked Dr Chan for sharing his professional knowledge of CBRN with officers. ![]() |
