At a civil service award presentation ceremony on November 21, the Secretary for the Civil Service (SCS), Miss Denise Yue, presented commendations to five Force members and a Senior Information Officer seconded to the Force from Information Services Department, for their outstanding services. They are Chief Inspector Heng Tin-kin, Station Sergeant Wu Shu-yan, Senior Force Welfare Officer Kwan Tat-kam, Senior Police Clinical Psychologist Lau Kam-lun, Senior Clerical Officer Lee Dun-wai, and Police Public Relations Branch Senior Information Officer Anita Chow.

The Government rolled out the SCS Commendation Scheme in 2004 to compliment those civil servants who continually come up with outstanding performances. So far, eight award presentations have been held, and a total of 19 Force members have been commended.
