Promotion and commendation
Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung presented letters to a total of 12 officers on January 13 and February 3, confirming their promotions to Assistant Commissioner (ACP) and Chief Superintendent (CSP). Mr Tsang also presented CP's Commendation to three officers.
Mr Cheng Se-lim, Mrs Ng Tsui Fung-ying, Mr Peter Morgan and Mr Yu Mun-sang have been promoted to ACP, while Messrs Chau Ping-sun, Cheng Kwok-hung, Patrick Hodson, Ting Hung-kay, Tsang Cheung-tat, Kwok Ho-fai and Steven Wordsworth as well as Ms Lam Hiu-tong to CSP.
Receiving CP's Commendation were Senior Superintendent Ho Yuen-ha, Chief Inspector Alan Chung and Senior Inspector Tse Chun-yin. They were commented for leadership, professional ability and devotion to duty of an exceptionally high order displayed in a protracted investigation of the murder of a triad leader.
