Dear
Hong Kong Police,
I would like to thank you for the exceptional services and help rendered by your department staff during my visit to Hong Kong. I, along with my wife and son, visited Hong Kong on December 22 for a vacation. On 23rd when I was returning from Repulse Bay beach in green bus no 52, I forgot my bag containing three passports, cell phone and other stuff while alighting at Aberdeen terminal (to go to Jumbo restaurant). When I realized this 10 minutes later, I was extremely tensed and rushed to the bus stop. On my way I saw police officers with ID numbers SGT 47370, PC 58052 and PC 3298. I was very frightened and asked the police for help. The officers enquired about the details, then accompanied me to the bus stop where I forgot my bag. After enquiring with the local bus people, they took me to the main bus stop and then the parking lot where the bus with my bag was parked. All my belongings were safe. The prompt service of the policemen helped find the bag back. With language problems and other issues, finding my bag without them would have been impossible. They were God sent angels to me on that day. I would like to appreciate their service and also request you to express my thanks to them. Please convey to them that I have written to thank them as it will motivate them further. D Vyas
(Editor's Note: The officers mentioned in this letter are SGT Yeong Yau-shing and PCs Yu Tat-lung and Chan Tsz-kin, all from PLN 2 EU HKI)
