Police Credit Union (PCU) celebrated its 30th anniversary with a carnival at Police Sports and Recreation Club on February 11. Director of Personnel and Training Ma Wai-luk and Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Ng Tsui Fung-ying, accompanied by Union Chairman, Mr Au Chi-kong, opened the event by performing a "lion" eye-dotting ceremony.

The union also used the occasion to support the Police Education and Welfare Trust when Mr Au presented a cheque for the admission proceeds of the event to Mr Ma.

The carnival featured a host of games, booths and contests, catering for the different tastes of 4 000 union members and their families. The carnival also offered 12 lucky draws, each carrying attractive prizes for 10 lucky visitors. Besides savouring free traditional Chinese snacks, union members, their families and friends were also offered attractive gifts.

On hand to entertain the big crowds of visitors were Police Silver Band, Police dogs, police martial art club, police choir and police judo club.

While planning to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a carnival, Police Credit Union decides to make a donation for Police Education and Welfare Trust
