Dear Commissioner,

I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding police work done by Senior Inspector Szeto Hung-wai, and his team of Sergeant Tam Yun-chung, and Police Constables Leung King-sung, Chan King-yin, Wong Kwok-wun, Lee Pui-yee and Tsui Sze-wun in connection with a jewellery robbery in Central.

The case was discovered on January 28, 2011 and was reported to the police on the same day. Mr Szeto and his team took over the case and promptly made a preliminary investigation. With strong evidence, the team arrested a suspect the following day and recovered most of the stolen jewellery from the suspect's premises and pawnshops in the same week.

Mr Szeto and his team have demonstrated a high level of professionalism and strong work ethic. Their swift actions directly assisted us in recovering the stolen goods which would otherwise be left unfound at the pawnshops. I would like to extend my appreciation to each individual team member for an outstanding law enforcement service.
