The Hong Kong Council of Social Service has once again awarded the "Five Years Plus Caring Organisation Logo" to the Force. Chief Superintendent (Personnel Services and Staff Relations) So Kam-tong received the award on behalf of the Force at the Caring Company Non-government Organisation Partnership Day 2011/12 organised by the council at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 3.

The Force has been awarded the "Five Years Plus Caring Organisation Logo" this year for having demonstrated good corporate citizenship in "Caring for the Community", "Caring for the Employees" and "Caring for the Environment" over the past years. This is the seventh consecutive year since 2005 that the Force is honoured with the award of the Caring Organisation Logo. It is entitled to using the logo from March 1, 2012 to April 30, 2013 in promotional materials and activities to show the public that the Force is a socially responsible organisation.

Furthermore, being the recipient of the "Total Caring Award - Organisation 2006/07", the Force is also entitled to displaying the designated logo in any promotional activity or material beyond 2007 as long as the Force renews the Caring Organisation status every year. The new logo and its specification are now available on POINT.

For enquiries about the use of the Logo, contact Force Welfare Officer (WS 2) Mary Yung at 2860-6290 or through PEN at fwo-ws-2@police.gov.hk.
