Accolades for KE RCU officers

Following a prolonged investigation, officers of Regional Crime Unit (RCU) 2 Kowloon East (KE) arrested in last October a man in connection with 60 burglaries in industrial buildings over the territory. At the same time, the officers also recovered a large quantity of stolen properties, including gold ornaments, jades and watches worth over $4 million. 

As part of the investigation, an in-depth financial investigation was conducted, resulting in the arrest of the suspect's wife for money laundering and freezing of 8.5 million in her bank accounts.

On April 27, Ms Li Wai-chun, Kwun Tong Junior Police Call Honorary President and Chairlady of Wah Shing Centre Owners' Corporation, and 10 victimised companies presented silver plaques and banners to Senior Superintendent  (Crime) KE Eugene Yue and RCU officers for their professionalism and devotion to duty.
