Force wins 2011 HKAEE Sectoral Award

The Force participated in the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) in 2011 and won the Certificate of Merit of the 2011 HKAEE Sectoral Awards (Public Organisations and Utilities). Police Civil Secretary Elaine Chan Wong Yan-lan received the award on behalf of the Force at the 2011 HKAEE Awards Presentation Ceremony cum 2012 HKAEE Launching Ceremony held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 4.

The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, and the Secretary for the Environment, Mr Edward Yau, officiated at the ceremony.

The HKAEE was launched in 2008 to encourage implementation of environmental practices and management, and to recognise the green efforts of organisations in promoting environmental practices and in building a better and greener Hong Kong.
