RAILDIST hosts workshop for better rapport with MTRC |
||
To enhance co-operation and communication between frontline officers and MTRC staff, Railway District (RAILDIST) held an Experience Sharing Workshop at MTRC Fo Tan Railway House on April 18 and 25. Attending the workshop were over 30 officers from the District, Ta Kwu Ling and Sheung Shui Divisions, as well as 60 MTRC Station officers and staff from the By-Law Inspection Unit and Ticket Inspection Unit. Coordinated by RAILDIST Commander Tam Chak-hang, the workshop covered useful topics like General Merchandise Operators, sexual offences, drunk and insane persons, and handling of major incidents. Through interactive learning, group discussions, and experience sharing, the audience honed their skills and enhanced their capabilities for communication and co-operation. In his closing address, Mr Tam shared his working experience with the audience and encouraged them to make good use of what they had learned from the workshops. He added that more similar workshops would be organised with other Regions and Districts to address issues unique to other railway lines. ![]() |
