Promotion to Sergeant Qualifying Exam |

Applications are invited for the Promotion to Sergeant Qualifying Examination (PSQE) 2012. The deadline for application is June 15. The exam will start at 10.30 am on October 14. Applicants are required to fill in and sign the unit/sub-unit Application Form personally. Applicants should familiarise themselves with the Instructions to Candidates in the PEN message dated May 2. Any candidate who breaches the examination instructions may be disqualified. The Force Examinations Board endorsed the following new exam regulations in March last year: "No officer may sit for the PSQE if his or her mark at the two immediately preceding PSQE was 25 to 30 per cent (inclusive). This disqualification measure will apply only to consecutive sittings of an examination, i.e. will not apply to officers who do not take PSQE on consecutive sittings. Candidates' PSQE results obtained prior to March last year will not count towards this new measure." The format of the exam remains the same as last year.
