Force Bowling Team Representatives selected
Following preliminary selection games in March for the Hong Kong Police Force Bowling Team, and with the Chairman of the Hong Kong Police Force Bowling Club, Superintendent Ho Yun-sing, and Vice-chairman, Senior Inspector Chan Chi-wai, cheering on the players, 16 representatives were picked for the final 12-game competition on April 17.
After rounds of intense elimination, the final took place between Detective Police Constable (DPC) Ng Kit-yan and Senior Police Constable (SPC) Woo Shia-kan. In the decisive final game, DPC Ng retained the championship title, followed by SPC Woo and Sergeant Lai Fuk-wing as first and second runners-up respectively.
The Hong Kong Police Force Bowling Club has promoted bowling for many years to support the culture of healthy lifestyle within the Force. In the past, the club found many new faces in various competitions, indicating that the promotion is effective. Encouraged by this, the club will continue to organise more competitions in the coming year.
