Dear Sirs,

We are writing to express our appreciation of the professional services provided by the police officers at the Stanley precinct, Mr Chau, 47293, Mr Chau, 3453 and Mr Lam, 58139.

The case, reported near end of May 2012, involved a noise pollution problem caused by an unreasonable neighbour who was known to have committed repeated offences of a similar nature. Although the case had taken more than two weeks to resolve, all the police officers mentioned above demonstrated a high degree of professionalism, proactiveness and endurance in handling this case, weighing the costs and benefits of various courses of action and recommended to me in person what would serve my best interest as a plaintiff. Mr Chau (47293) has, in particular, demonstrated outstanding ability in exercising judgement and executing his action plan and I see that as a form of leadership that should be advocated in the Hong Kong Police Force.

We are very pleased with the experience of working with the above police officers who have played a significant role in giving this noise complaint case a favourable resolution.
