WCHDIST presented with banners
Wan Chai District Councillor, Ms Tang King-yung, Chairman of the Man On House Owners' Corporation, Mr Lo Yam-sun, and two crime victims presented tapestry banners and plates to WCHDIST officers for their professionalism in handling cases of throwing corrosive fluid with intent to do grievous bodily harm, blackmailing and indecent assault.
Receiving the banners and plates were Assistant District Commander (Crime) Yam Wai-kwok, Chief Inspector (Crime) Lam Siu-wah, and officers of District Crime Squad 1 and 2 and District Anti-Triad Section 2.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Ms Tang told the officers: "Thank you for the professionalism you have displayed all along. Please keep up your good work and continue to provide the citizens of Wan Chai with a place to work and live in peacefully and happily."
