HKI initiative at "Ani-Com & Games HK"
As one of the best-known fairs, the annual" Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong" is the hottest event in summer for the younger generation. This year, the 14th "Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong" was held at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from July 27 to 31. The Regional Crime Prevention Office of Hong Kong Island (RCPO HKI), assisted by the Civil Aid Service Cadet Corps, took this chance to disseminate messages on the first day of the fair to alert young visitors to dangerous drugs and cyber sexual assault.
RCPO HKI officers and 15 Cadet Corps members handed out publicity leaflets at the fair in an effort to make young people more aware of the harm of dangerous drugs and more vigilant when making new friends in the cyber world, in line with the themes of 2012/13 Fight Crime Publicity Campaign - "Stand Firm! Knock Drugs Out" and "Guarding against Sexual Assault".
