In the early hours of June 15, a man armed with a knife broke into the home of a Pakistani family in Shek Lei Estate, Kwai Chung, and attacked and robbed a woman occupant. Having identified the culprit on CCTV surveillance system, officers of the Task Force Sub-unit in Kwai Chung Division (TFSU KWCDIV) made arrest in a matter of 24 hours. On July 13, District councillors, leaders of the Non-ethnic Chinese community and representatives of the management company of Shek Lei Estate presented banners to Kwai Chung Divisional Commander Yau Kwok-keung and TFSU officers for supporting the ethnic minorities in Kwai Chung and for the officers' prompt action. |
