International Sea Cadets visit Marine Region
A total of 26 sea cadets from Korea, Japan, Singapore, the UK and USA as well as 16 local sea cadets visited the Marine Region on August 6 as part of the 13th Hong Kong International Sea Cadet Exchange Programme being held in Hong Kong.
The visit activities included boarding a Police launch to see the facilities onboard and a tour of the Marine Regional Command and Control Centre. The sea cadets also visited the new e-learning suite in Marine Police Training School, where they were briefed on the challenges being faced by Marine Region and tried their hands on navigation through e-learning means.
The visitors were impressed with the latest development in marine policing.
