The Hong Kong Police Old Comrades' Association (HKPOCA) is running again a series on the collective memory of its members. The first article covers the now and then of police posts. The content of the article is provided by two members of the association, Mr Lee Chi-keung and Mr Wong Chung-kee. Opening of the renovated Peng Chau Police Post in
June1999. The post was built in 1965 The old Tin Wan Police Post in 1966 The old
police post in Pak Hok Chau in 1965 The design of the Penny's Bay Police Post in
Disneyland blends with the surrounding environment There are two police posts on Lamma
Island-one in Sok Kwu Wan and the other in Yung Shue Wan (upper). The
Force plans to build a modern one to replace the Yung Shue Wan post
built in 1966 The Kat
O Police Post opened in April 1997 to replace an old post (upper) |
