Dear
Sir / Madam,
I am a Lamma resident. I work as a teacher in Hong Kong. Earlier on, I've called the police for help and now I am writing to thank for the professional service of the Yung Shue Wan Police. About 2.30 a.m. of October 1, my 14-year-old daughter locked herself inside the home washroom. I worried about her as she didn't come out for a long time, so I called the police without second thought. I asked the police to break in, however, I found that my daughter was not in the washroom with the windows opened. It made me very anxious. The police comforted me and accompanied me to find my daughter on the island. Finally my daughter was found in Hung Shing Yeh Beach. While the police ran after my daughter, they even ran to the top of the hill. I was grateful for the great effort they put. After the incident, I realise how lucky I am to live in Hong Kong. Apart from the professionalism the police displayed, as a parent, I also thank them for giving guidance to my daughter after they found her. Their work makes me boost my trust and recognition to the Hong Kong Police. I would like to take this opportunity to express how appreciative I am to police 2121, 3771, 45634 and 53532. (Editor's Note: the officers praised in this letter are PCs Wong Tin-leung, Fung Tat-lung, Law Chi-shing and Tsang Kei-cheong, all from CCDIV)
