Dear Sir,

I am writing to convey my very sincere thanks to all of the officers involved in apprehending the culprits and recovering the I Phone that they had stolen from my brief case.

I was travelling through the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station when, unknown to me, the individuals following me up the escalators had opened my bag and stole my phone.

A number of your diligent officers observed my phone being stolen and just after leaving the ticket barrier a team of police officers apprehended the thieves.

I was truly astounded that your diligent officers had managed to even see the theft of my phone but to actually then apprehend the thieves so quickly and with such surprise was amazing. It really was a pleasure to see such a professional team at work. I think you would probably call it a textbook operation.

I have made a point of asking for the numbers of all the officers involved in this case.  They are SGT 52781, SGT 53202, PC 4522, 7866, 8710, 11271, 11454, 52358, 1272 and 11271. I would be obliged if you could please thank these officers for their diligence and the very professional way they conducted themselves. They are all a true credit to the Hong Kong Police Force.

Ryley

(Editor's Note: The officers praised in this letter are SGTs Cheung Ching-lung and Yan Ming-yin and PCs Lam Shing-yip, Lo Kin-fun, Chan Ka-hung, Law Po-ki, Wong Yuk-pan, Leung Kin-keung, Ha Wai-kit and Law Po-ki, all from YMTDIV and TSTDIV)
