Mobile application updates users on Force matters
The "Hong Kong Police Mobile Application" (HKP Mobile App) was launched on July 18. Smartphone users can download this application to obtain the latest police information anytime and anywhere.
Since the launching, positive feedback has been received from users, the number of downloading has accumulated to over 40,000 and the average rating is above 4 (rating ranges from 1 to 5).
The HKP Mobile App, being an important communication platform, had its latest version 1.1 rolled out on October 9, which carries the new feature of "Clarification / Response to Media Enquiry or Report", enriching the content of the application. By simply pressing the icon, users can gain access to Force's replies to the media to clarify inaccurate and misleading reports and have a better understanding of the stance of the Force towards certain issues.
In addition, the Force has improved the user interface of the application, providing a more simple, convenient and efficient operation mode for users.
To experience the features of the HKP Mobile App, download it from App Store and Google Play. For those who have downloaded the application, the latest version can be obtained through App Store and Google Play of their smartphones.
