LB launches e-Learning Package on Mainland Policing |

In a bid to enhance officers' understanding of the policing on the Mainland, Liaison Bureau (LB) initiated and developed an e-Learning Package with the support of the Learning Technologies Division of Police College. The package covers four main areas, namely Introduction to Mainland Policing; Cross-boundary Co-operation; Case Scenarios; and e-Quiz. To raise the interest of officers, the package is delivered by way of presentations, animation, photographs and videos. Officers may conduct a self-evaluation on the understanding of Mainland policing through the e-Quiz after viewing the package. The version in traditional Chinese characters with Cantonese narration has been uploaded onto the e-Learning Portal of POINT. The version in simplified characters with Putonghua narration will be uploaded onto POINT in the second phase for officers to make cross-reference between traditional and simplified characters and Putonghua and Cantonese. |
