'Let's Fly'- novel way to promote road safety
The Road Safety Team of Traffic Kowloon West (T KW) has teamed up with the Road Safety Patrol (West Kowloon Region) to organise a promotion activity, Road Safety - Let's Fly, that was a novel way to engage secondary school students in promotion of road safety messages. Many students in Kowloon West Region have taken part in a Kites Design Competition with creative entries carrying road safety as a theme.
Hong Kong Sky Kite Association Chairman, Mr Chan Kin-cheun, was on hand to teach the students the skills of making and flying kites. Launching the event, T KW Acing Senior Superintendent Chan Yat-sze called on the students to comply with traffic rules and encouraged them to disseminate road safety messages to their families, relatives and peers.
