DThe Force further strengthened friendship and working relationship with its Guangdong and Macao counterparts at the 13th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Police and Security Forces Sports Exchange held in Macao between October 16 and 19.

This year saw nail-biting contest in shooting, cross-country run, dragon boat race, football and badminton. Force athletes won the cross-country run and a silver medal in shooting and dragon boat race. 

While athletes were engaged in their sports, the senior officers from the three law enforcement agencies also played friendly matches. In the senior officers' friendly matches, the Force captured three gold medals with Marine Regional Commander Lau Yip-shing and Senior Inspector Lee Kwok-chung taking the gold medal of the tennis friendly match; Assistant Commissioner (Crime) Lo Mung-hung and Lantau District Commander Au Yeung Chiu-kong winning the shooting match; and the Chairman and Vice-chairman of the Force Sport Council, Assistant Commissioner (Operations) Wong Chi-hung and Police College Director Cheng Se-lim, pocketing the title of the senior officers' bowling friendly match. 

Commissioner Tsang Wai-hung attended the annual sports exchange to show support to Force athletes and attended the closing ceremony to cement friendship and working relationship with Guangdong and Macao Police and Security Forces.
