The Force and the Community Chest will jointly host the "Hong Kong Police Night for the Chest 2012" at Police College this month to raise funds for the Community Chest. Another objective of the event is to demonstrate the Force's commitment to its social responsibility. The event will comprise the Chief Executive's Night on Friday, November 23, with the CE being the Guest of Honour, and the Commissioner of Police's Night on Saturday, November 24, with CP being the Guest of Honour. Prior to the two evening programmes, there will be Preview Night on Thursday, November 22, for underprivileged groups, families of those taking part in the evening programmes and officers injured on duty. The programmes will consist of entertainment and demonstrations presented by Police Band, Auxiliary Police Band, Police Tactical Unit, Special Duties Unit, Police Dog Unit, Recruit Police Constables and Non-ethnic Chinese students. |
