Assistant Commissioner (Crime) Lo Mung-hung played host to nearly 600 guests at the annual Crime Wing Liaison Gathering held at Police Headquarters on November 16. Among the guests were representatives from Mainland and overseas law enforcement agencies, consular corps, other government departments and banking and finance sectors.

Welcoming the guests, Mr Lo said the gathering provided a valuable opportunity for Crime Wing officers to strengthen partnership, communication and understanding.

He pointed out that Hong Kong performed very well in many aspects, particularly in the areas of safety and security. Hong Kong ranked 18th in the recent Overall Global Prosperity Ranking - the highest amongst the cities in Asia.  He said such remarkable achievement was only possible with the commitments of the police, the community and, more importantly, the Force's strategic partners. "Their collective efforts ensure Hong Kong remains a safe and stable place to live and work," Mr Lo added.

On display at the reception were photos of Crime Wing's efforts and achievements in law enforcement and engagement of its strategic partners in the past.

Mr Lo thanks the Force's strategic partners for continuing to support the fight against crime
