KE CID workshops
Following the success of a series of criminal investigation workshops held in March this year, Kowloon East (KE) Region held another series at Kai Tak Operational Base in October for over 60 officers from District Investigation Teams and District Special Duty Squads.
The second series concluded with KE Senior Superintendent (Crime) Eugene Yue sharing his crime experience with the workshop participants, and encouraging them to brush up their knowledge and upgrade their professional ability.
The workshop programme, planned by Superintendent Sin Chi-sing and Chief Inspector WONG Shun-shing, covered a wide-rang of topics, including crime-related issues, telephone deception, the Technology Crime Initial Response Cadre, common mistakes in crime messages, child abuse and vulnerable witnesses. Through interactive discussion and experience sharing, the participants were able to hone their skills of investigating crimes.
