Talk on building security
Western District (WDIST) and Hong Kong Island Regional Crime Prevention Office held a talk on security for buildings in Southern District in Stanley Police Station on November 8. At the workshop, officers spoke on criminals' modus operandi, offered advice on security measures, and answered questions on building security raised by owners' corporations and property management companies.
The workshop enabled WDIST to understand better the needs in terms of building security in Southern District and reinforce communication and co-operation in building security.
Among those attending the talk were Acting WDIST Commander Choy Wise, Southern District Council member, Mrs Chan Lee Pui-ying, and representatives from estate management companies, security companies, owners' corporations and shops. Fight crime publicity souvenirs, leaflets and posters were distributed to the audience after the talk to seek their support for preventing and fighting crimes.
