CSWDIV partnership in preventing site theft
Construction of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link infrastructure project is underway at the Nam Cheong MTR station. Given the vast size of the project and the large quantity of construction equipment and materials being used, Cheung Sha Wan Division (CSWDIV) is concerned about the problem of theft at the project site.
As one of its preventive measures, CSWDIV teamed up with Shamshuipo District Police Community Relations Office and Kowloon West Regional Crime Prevention Office in hosting an anti-theft seminar at the Nam Cheong MTR construction site on October 15. Among the audience were the site project manager, security personnel and representatives from the functional units of the construction contractor.
The seminar took the form of an open forum in which the audience shared their views on preventing theft at the project site, while police offered advice on preventive measures. At the same time, the project manager and his team thanked CSWDIV for engaging the community and forging partnership in crime prevention.
The
audience also has a good exchange of views
