| At a ceremony
at Government House on December 8, the Chief Executive, Mr CY Leung,
presented honours and awards to 280 recipients, including 26 serving
and retired members of the Force. Deputy Commissioner (Management) Ma Wai-luk and Hong Kong Island Regional Commander, Dr Cheuk Chun-yin, were awarded Police Medal for Distinguished Service. Twenty one officers were presented with Police Medal for Meritorious Service and three with Medal of Honour.
