Sports Day a hit with officers
New Territories South (NTS) Region, kowloon East (KE) Region and Hong Kong Island (HKI) Region held their annual Sports Day in Police Sports and Recreation Club on October 26 and November 14 and 15 respectively, drawing large turnouts of officers and their families.
On the NTS sports Day, Tsuen Wan and Airport District captured the trophies for the Major and Minor Formations respectively.
On the KE Sports Day, over 600 officers turned up to support for the Force's promotion of Healthy Life Style and the "One man, One sport" concept.
Following intense contest, Kwun Tong and Wong Tai Sin Districts shared the Championship of the Major Formation, while Regional Headquarters pulled off the Championship of Minor Formation. Railway District clinched the Best Cheering Team title with a colourful performance.
The HKI Sports Day was also full of team spirit, sportsmanship, excitement and fun when officers vied for trophies and cups.
HKI Regional Commander, Dr Cheuk Chun-yin, attended the event and cheered on the officers. Following heated but friendly matches, Central District and Traffic Hong Kong Island captured the overall Major and Minor Formation Championships respectively.
