'Road Safety Starts from Me' carnival
The Road Safety Team of Traffic Kowloon West (T KW) held a road safety promotion carnival, "Road Safety Starts From Me", in Kowloon Park on December 8, where Yau Tsim Mong District Officer, Miss Ho Siu-ping, and other guests officiated at an opening ceremony and presented awards to the winners of four road safety contests.
The contests were Road Safety Elderly Calligraphy Competition, Road Safety Secondary Student Modelling Design Competition, Road Safety Primary School Uniform Design Competition and Road Safety Kindergarten Student Colouring Competition, all with the objective of enlisting the participants' assistance in bringing road safety messages to their families, relatives and friends.
Game booths set up by Road Safety Patrol Kowloon West and demonstration of the Harley Davidson Motorcycles helped disseminate road safety messages to visitors to the carnival.
