The Hong Kong Council of Social Service has once again awarded the "Five Years Plus Caring Organisation Logo" to the Force. Director of Personnel and Training Chau Kwok-leung received the award on behalf of the Force at the Caring Company Partnership Expo 2013 - Partnership for Innovation organised by the Council at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on January 22. Mr Chau found the Expo inspiring. "The Force will enhance partnership with social enterprises for assuming social responsibility in various aspects," he said. The Force has won the "Five Years Plus Caring Organisation Logo" for demonstrating good corporate citizenship in "Caring for the Community", "Caring for the Employees, and "Caring for the Environment" in the past years. It is the eighth consecutive year since 2005 the Force is honoured with the award of the Caring Organisation Logo. The Force is entitled to use the logo, with effect from March 1, 2012 to February 28, 2014, in promotional materials and activities to show the public that the Force is a socially responsible organisation. Furthermore, being the recipient of the "Total Caring Award - Organisation 2006/07", the Force is also entitled to display the designated logo in any promotional activity or material beyond 2007 as long as the Force renews the Caring Organisation status every year. The new logo and its specification are available on Frequently Used Internal Links on POINT. For enquiries about the use of the logo, contact Force Welfare Officer (WS 2) Mary Yung at 2860-6290 or through PEN at fwo-ws-2@police.gov.hk. ![]() |
